QUALIFICATIONS
Tile Render states that he / she is physically and legally qualified to operate the above described vehicle.
RENTAL RATE
The Renter hereby agrees to pay the owner at the rate agreed at front page. All fuel used shall be paid for by the Renter.
EXCLUSIONS(1)The rented vehicle shall not be used to carry passengers or property for hire.
(2)The rented vehicle shall not be used to carry passengers in excess of the capacity.
(3)The rented vehicle shall not be used to push, propel or tow another vehicle, trailer or any other thing without the written permission, of the Owner.
(4)The rented vehicle shall not be used for any race or in any competition.
(5)The rented vehicle shall not be used for any illegal purpose.
(6)The Renter shall not operate the vehicle in a negligent manner. The rented vehicle shall not be operated by any other person other than the Renter stipulated above without the written permission of the Owner.
(7)The rented vehicle shall not be used to animals while renting the vehicle.
(8)Penalty of RM 10000 will be charged if found guilty.
The above rate is excludes:
- Gasoline
- Parking fees, Toll Fees, fines and other traffic offences
- Missing items e.g. Tires, hup-caps and other accessories
- Personal Accident Insurance
- Dented or scratches
The Renter hereby agrees that he/she shall be held fully responsible for any and all loss of or damage to the vehicle or equipment during the terms of this Car Rental Agreement whatever caused by collision, fire, flood, vandalism, theft or any other cause determined to be caused by a fault or defect of the vehicle or equipment. Renter will be fine of Min RM 10000 in case of loss of the car. Fine is charge based on outstanding balance with the bank. Insurance excess is RM 4000 to RM 8000. The renter is liable to pay the daily rental rate in case of the vehicle rented is in workshop for repair. We strongly recommend that renter purchase a personal travel Insurance policy prior to the commencement of holiday. The Company shall not be responsible for any loss or damage as a result of trip cancellation, personal baggage, personal accident, injury or illness.
DEPOSITThe Renter further agrees to make a deposit with the Owner, said Deposit to be used, in the event of loss or damage to the vehicle or equipment, during the term of this Car Rental Agreement, to defray full or partially the cost of necessary repairs or replacement. Deposit will be returned to renter in 15 working days the car if nothing happens to the car. In the absence of damage or loss, said deposit shall be credited towards payment of the Rental Rate and any excess shall be returned to the Renter. ALL PRICES ARE QUOTED IN RINGGIT MALAYSIA (RM/MYR)
ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY SERVICEIn base of accidents involving the vehicle, The Hire shall:
(1)Obtain the names, identity car numbers, addresses and driving license numbers of the parties invoiced and of the witnesses.
(2)Notify AKB Rent A Car immediately and completing forthwith AKB Rent A Car Accident Report Form and complying with all requests to provide assistance in any litigation or investigation relating such damage or accident.
(3)Notify the police or other proper authority within twenty four (24) hours from the time of occurrence, of the accident and shall supply such information, drawings and assistance in connection with the accidents as the police may require.
(4) In any emergency situation such as breakdown AKB Rent A Car has own appointed towing company.
RENTAL ALTERNATIVES CANCELLATIONAKB Rent A Car reserves the right to cancel any rental prior to commencement for any reason whatsoever. The company may, if it so chooses, recommend an alternative vehicle to renter preferably of the same category. Should renter decide not to accept the alternative, all monies paid by renter will be refunded in half without further obligation or liability on the part of The Company.
